A full equipment list is available below, although very little special gear is needed. A good pair of walking boots is a must if you want to do some stalking or hiking and some flat soled boots if you would like to go on a riding safari. A quality camera & pair of binoculars are great assets in the veldt and can get you some much closer to the wildlife.

We have a wide selection of estate rifles that are available for use by those who would like to hunt. For those who would like to bring their own rifles in the .300 calibre range are most suited, something between .270 and .375 is ideal. For those wishing to birdshoot a 12 gauge shotgun is the most appropriate. Temporary import permits are issued at the port of entry.
