Southern Game Trails specialises in small personalised safaris (maximum ten people a week) tailored to the individual. We make every effort to ensure that your stay in the Southern Kalahari is both welcoming and different. Our attitude is very much ‘lets create a tailored safari for you’ – wildlife is in abundance and can make for some very challenging stalking, accompanied by a professional guide. Either creeping through the bush (can be fairly spikey!) or driving in comfort in one of our Landcruisers, the buzz of seeing an animal up close and totally wild cannot be forgotten. The biodiversity at Weltevreden is amazing, from the largest of birdlife on the planet, or the massive greater kudu to the dainty steenbok or the flocks of delicately purpled mouse birds.   Weltevreden is reached by flying into Johannesburg or Cape Town and then a short hop to Kimberley, where you’ll be met by our friendly staff for the drive to the reserve. Alternatively, we can arrange private air transport to a local airstrip.
